Father daughter time (Tessa and Richard and Damien)

Richard wanted to spend some alone time with each of his new daughters. The day that he had planned for Tessa was a day at the lake and for the day he planned to give her the gift of sight for the day so that she could see what Willow Lake looked like along with how it felt.

He brought her down to the lake and held her hand while he moved so he was in front of her. "Tessa darling would you like to be able to see for a day?" He asked her he would only go through with the plan if she wanted it.

Tessa blinked a little bit. She was confused by what he asked her. Tessa could tell that she was down by a lake because she could smell the air. That is when she remembered that one time that she feel into a lake, but pushed that thought aside. She was with her father and knew that wasn't going to happen.

“ I would love to be able to see, if only for one day. I always wanted to know what something looked like. And she knew something was different when she didn’t' bring Yasmina down with her. But she knew that she wanted to be alone with her father. She never would have thought that he would ask her if she wanted the gift of site, if only it was for one day.

He smiled at his daughter. "Alright Close your eyes dear for it will be really bright when you open them again." He watched her close her eyes. "Good I am right in front of you I am going to touch your eyelids dear." He pulled out his wand and while touching her eyelids he whispered a few words and then rubbed a potion over top of her eyelids gently.

"Now open your eyes slowly and tell me what you see alright." He smiled at her knowing that this would probably be the first time that she had ever seen anything in her life and he wanted to be what she saw first her father someone who loved her.

Tessa slowly opened her eyes. It was the first time she had ever seen colors. She then hugged her father, because she knew it was because of him. “ Thank you.” Tessa repeated it over and over, she was so excited. But she then looked around down at the lake and back up to the sky. Everything was all new to her. She couldn’t' believe that she was missing out on this. Because she was curious she was looking down at the sand. She knew what it felt like, but she never knew the color of it before.

She was enjoying this, even if it was only for one day. She got to see what the world looked like, and she would never forget about it.

Richard couldn't help but smile as Tessa hugged her this . "You are welcome dear. Now come lets go to the lake and any where else that you would like to go for the day." He took her hand again for he was not sure that he could trust himself to allow her to take her first steps without the support of a firm hand for it could be a little different.

"So are you enjoying be able to see?" He knew that was a stupid a question for of course she was enjoying herself.

Tessa was smiling, this is something that she always wanted. But thought that it would never happen, so she would have to just dream it. She was looking at the lake, trying to memorize the color it was. It looked blue, but she knew that was because it reflected off of the sky. Tessa really hadn't thought of where else she would like to go. But her smile was still on her face. “ Ok let's go then.” Tessa was still holding his hand. Because she wasn't sure as she took her first steps. Looking down she could tell that she was still a little shaky.

“ I am! It is so different than what I had to imagine.” She knew that this would soon end, but she would never forget about this day.

He smiled at his daughter. "I am glad that you are having a good time dear is there anyone that you would like to 'see' today?" He knew she had a developing relationship with one of the Slytherin boys and he wondered to himself if she would like to see what he looked like if he could invite him in fact he had that was another surprise he had for her.

Tessa blinked. “ Well there is this one person I want to see, but I know that he is busy.” She wanted to scream his name. But she knew that his father wouldn’t' approve of her. And she didn't want him to get beaten because of her. She then remembered about how Damien was going to buy her a Kneazle. No matter how many she would tell herself no.

“ I want to see Damien so bad. But I am sure he doesn't want to see me.”

Damien was a little surprised when he got the owl from Professor Devante requesting his presence down at Willow Lake. Damien was wondering why he wanted him there, probably to drown him with no witnesses. He was sure that Professor Devante had heard some of the things that Damien had done to his daughter and was not too happy about them.

Damien had never been to Willow lake before so he was glad that the Professor had included directions on how to get there, Damien kept telling himself that everything was fine and he needed to quit worrying. He thought he had been beat up enough over woman for the week.

He had finally made it to the lake and went in search of where he was. Walking up to the spot he said he would be Damien noticed that Tessa was there and she was really excited hugging her father, Damien had to smile he love it when she was happy.

She had not seen him yet, but the professor had and he made the shhh sign with his finger to his lips. Damien slowed his walk and walked as quietly as he could.

"Tessa darling there is someone here that would like to see you I believe." Richard said as he got out of the way.

"I believe you guys know each other." He said as he pointed in the direction of Where Damien was standing and smiled. He waited for her reaction of seeing Damien he would do anything to see her smile.

"Don't be shy Damien come on over I won't hurt you." He said as he invited the boy over.

Tessa then looked around and started to blink. She then noticed someone about her age. It was someone that she had never see before. But this was her first time seeing anything.

“ We do?” She really wasn't sure of what to do or even say. But she then started to blink when her father said , don't be shy Damien.

She was shocked. “ Damien, is that what you look like?”

Damien was a little weary about going over to where they were at until Professor Devante said he wouldn't hurt him.

Damien was in shock when Professor Devante had Tessa turn around to meet him, and then he heard something he couldn't believe, she wanted to know if that is what he looked like.

Damien stopped in his tracks when he realized that she could see him. He just had to smile.

"What is this not what you were expecting, do you not approve?"

Tessa was smiling, she couldn't help but stare at Damien. She had never expected to see what he looked like.

She had no idea how good looking Damien was. But she then brought her hands up to her face. And started to wondered what she looked like.

“ You look much better than what I thought.”

Richard watched the two converse he liked how happy Tessa seemed and wished that he would of been able to give her sight forever but from what he could find that was not possible.

"I will let you two talk for a moment if you need me I will be over there" He said while pointing to a fallen tree branch.

He made his way over to the branch and sat down watching Damien closely because he was still not sure if he could trust the boy with his daughter.

Tessa started to walk closer to Damien. She still wasn't sure about walking, even thought she could see. Tessa was still a little bit shakey. But she was still smiling.

She looked at Damien. " I thought I was never going to be able to see you."

Damien could see she was just beaming when she got a look at him.

"So what did you imagine me too look like. Short and fat with red hair." Damien could not help but laugh.

"Maybe you thought I looked like a alien."

Damien wonder what she thought about him now that she could see him.

"Well now that you can, what do you think? Bad choice?"

Tessa was still smiling while she was looking at Damien.

" I really wasn't sure what you looked like, because you never told me ." After that part she started to pout.

She then took up thumb and was staring at it while looking at Damien.

" Nope I think I made an excellent choice."

Damien couldn't help but laugh when she started to pout, he walked up to her and pulled her thumb out.

"Pouting doesn't suit you dear." He smiled at her

"Well you never asked me to describe my self to you." Damien stated

Damien wondered how she was going to take it when she had to go back to not seeing anymore.

"Well at least by my looks you made an excellent choice, what about the rest of me."

Takes her hand and leads her by the lake to sit on the ground. He was always going to be a jerk, not to mention a flirt.

Tessa then started to giggle. She was enjoying herself for the first time. Tessa then looked down at her hands and noticed how long her nails where.

" Well I thought you would because I couldn't see." She then being to wonder. " What do I look like?" She didn't know if she didnt' want to go back to not being able to see. It would be hard for her.

She was laughed. " I think I made a good choice on everything." He then grabbed her hand and led her down to the lake.

Damien smiled when she wondered what she looked like.

"I think you look beautiful, and I believe I have described you to you." Damien thought about it then pulled a little mirror that he carried in his pocket and enlarged it.

"He now you can see what you look like." Damien smiled as he looked at her face and the way she was looking at herself.

Tessa smiled when he pulled out a mirror. To others this might sometimes come off being vain.

She then started to touch the mirror. " I had no idea that I looked like this?" Tessa was smiling as she was looking at herself. " So this is what everybody sees?"

Damien smiled as he watched he light up by looking in the mirror.

"Yes, dear that is what everyone sees when they look at you, but I imagine you are scary first thing in the morning." Damien had to laugh.

"So now tell me what you think about yourself?" Damien smiled and then started playing with Tessa's hair

Tessa was still looking at herself.

She was smiling, she never imagine that I looked beautiful." Tessa then started to pout. " I am not scary."

" I think that I love myself." She then could tell that Damien was paying her hair.

Richard couldn't help but smile at the two of them he was glad that he decided to invite Damien even if it did cut into his time with his daughter all he cared about was that she was happy.

Looking at the he realized that she only had a hour left with her sight he didn't realize that it was getting that late but he would let them talk for thirty minutes longer before he said anything. Again he wished that he could find a way to give this gift to her permantly but at the moment it was just not possible.

Damien just sighed when she commented that she wasn't scary.

"Hmm, I might have to ask one of your roommates their thoughts." Damien laughed

"Well in order to love me, you have to love yourself first." Damien pulled her close.

Damien was wondering how much longer she was going to have her site. He could tell she was so happy.
