Damien knew he needed to calm down or they were going to end up fighting.

"Fine I will stop.' He was still facing the other way. "I will not say anything else.

Damien thought about the things that other people think about him.

"Well I have no idea on how to do that, every one sees me for the mean jerk that I am. You are the only person I am this open with." Damien sighed

Damien was starting to work things out with Anne, and they were getting close but he didn't want to say anything to Tessa because he didn't want her to get the wrong idea.

Tessa sighed, she knew that they was about ready to fight. But she didn’t' want to ruin the only day that she was going to see. She hated how he was acting, it was him being childish. “ Fine then don't say anything else, I really don't care Damien. You can leave if you want.” She knew that she was getting upset and her father would see this.

“ Damien, I know you can do it. Just act like you do around me. It won't be hard to win over my sisters. It only took me two seconds.” She then remembered the day that they got to all come home. That was a day that she would never forget.

She sighed, she knew that Damien and Anne was spending a lot of time. Tessa knew that she was going to make up with Damien. But she was wondering what she was really up to.

Damien didn't know what to say, it just always seemed like he got upset over the littlest things.

"This right here is the reason that your sisters will never like me and then sooner or later your father will tell you I am no good for you either." Damien hated himself when he got this way.

"I get way too defensive all the time, blow up over the littlest things. I love to talk about the future because he makes me forget about what my future is suppose to be like. But you always bring up the fact that we are too young."

Damien stood up and walked closer to the lake and looked out over it.

Tessa sighed. She knew that Damien was right that soon, her father would tell her that he isn't good for her. “ Happiness is the result of my decision to be happy. There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way. In other words, happiness is a feeling I tap into, not an outcome of events. I can be happy without changing anything in my life except my relationship to my own thinking. I decide to be happy and commit myself to making happiness my state of mind, rather than relying on a set of circumstances to do it for me.” That was a quote that I learn growing up.

“ If you want to talk about the future, what do you want to be when we grow up?” This wasn't something that she thought of before. Now that she was in the wizarding world it would be different.

Damien listened to Tessa talk about happiness with the quote she had grown up with. Damien wished he had grown up with a quote about happiness all he ever grew up with was beatings and the way things will be done. Looking out at the lake from where he was standing he was thinking about life and how different it could be

"How can you be happy and not have people around you be happy?" Damien could not understand how that can work.

Damien had thought a lot about what he wanted to do when he grew up. "Well I would love to be a Potions Master, I have seen what things can be done with that."

Looking over his shoulder at Tessa "But I still do not clean, but I suppose if I am to be a Potions Master I will have to cook." Damien smiled.

Tessa smiled. “ I didn't really grow up in a happy home. But I had someone who would always cheer me up.” He was listening to her quote. “ I had to decide if I wanted to be happy, I know it would have been easier to be miserable.” She was still smiling. “ I was told it takes less muscles to smile.”

“ Easy you have to make yourself happy.” She couldn't even start to count all the times where she had to make herself laugh.

She then thought about it. “ There are so many options now that I am staying in the wizarding world. And I don't know what I want to do. And this all depends if I can see again.”

Tessa then started to laugh. “ Aww the Potion Master is going to learn to clean to. Because if I remember you said that you wanted three little girls. And looks like I will be taking care of them.”

Damien knew these were some of the reasons he fell in love with Tessa so fast. She was always so positive in the light of adversity. Damien decided to walk back over and sit down with Tessa.

"You know thats why I love you so much, you are my light in the dark. You make me feel wanted and special." Damien leaned over and kissed her.

"Well let us look at both options, what do you want to do if you are still blind? Then what do you want to do if you can see?" Damien could think of many things that she could do the same in both.

Damien laughed a little when she told him he was cleaning and if he wanted three girls then he was gona help.

"Well maybe we will just have one kid then, and I still want my house elves."

Tessa was smiling. “ There is always light in the darkest of nights.” Sometime she wondered where she learned all of this. Maybe it was growing up with no hope, and she had to make herself her own hope. She was glad that Damien came back to her.

“ Have you ever seen a magnet? North and South attract to each other. We are like that, different like night and day.” She then wondered if he understood any of that.

“ I never really thought about it. I know that I am staying in the wizarding world. So I really have no idea what I can do.”

Tessa pouted a little bit. “ How about two kids and I might think about you keeping a house elf. But you are going to learn how to clean.”

Damien knew he had heard that saying before he just couldn't remember what it was. He didn't really care where it came from he was just glad for it.

"Yes dear, we are completely the opposite. Your perfect and I am flawed." Damien sighed.

"Well it will always be up to you to do whatever you want to do, I can take care of you." Damien smiled

Damien thought about the kids "Two kids would be fine, its what ever you want dear." Damien smiled

"But I am still have a couple of house elves."

Tessa smiled. “ Yeah I can't remember so I don't know how to explain it to you. I always thought that it was magic. But after finding out that I am a witch, and I know how it works.”

“ I am not perfect. Far from it.” She then rolled her eyes a little bit. “ I think that you are perfect for me.”

“ I don't know what I want to do, I have plenty of time to think about it.”She then laughed. “ Damien I love what you are saying, but I grown into taking care of myself.”

She smiled. “ Then three kids no house elf.” Tessa was laughing. “ I want to see you on your hands and knees scrubbing the floors.”

Damien thought about it and he never was one for divination but after seeing the events of lately he was beginning to be a believer.

"Well you know along with magic, we also have to work with fate and destiny." Damien sighed.

When Tessa talked about being perfect for him and Damien had to reach over to feel her forehead for a temperature to make sure she was not sick. "I believe you are coming down with something dear, if you think I am perfect."

Damien had to laugh at Tessa. "I am not talking about about waiting on you hand and foot. I meant providing for you so you never have to worry about anything." Damien sighed and looked at her. "I meant you can work if you want or you can stay home if you want."


Damien could not help but rolls his eyes and glare at her. "One house elf and I am not getting on the floor."

Tessa then laughed a little bit. “ Then since you are a beginning to believe, take Divination with me. Professor Slytherin is a very good teacher.” She smiled. “ And you can't say no cause you said I could pick four classes.”

She then started to sneeze. “ You know I haven't been feeling all that well. But I said that you are perfect for me.” Tessa then was laughing when he was checking her temperature. “ And you are worried that I might be sick, how cute.”

“ I knew what you meant. But I do like the waiting on me hand and foot.” She was smiling. “ I think I like to do something with Divination, I really enjoy the class.” She couldn't help but laughed. “ I know but staying at home can get boring.”

Tessa was laughing extremely hard. “ A muggle can do it, I think you can get on your hands and knees. It is a good lesson, you have to work hard to earn anything. And no house elf.”

Damien knew it walked into that one the minute he opened his mouth. Damien had to hand his head, he really didn't want to take the class.

"Well if I am gona take it next year then everything you learn this year you are going have to catch me up". Damien knew he had made the deal, but as long as he got his potions he didn't care. Plus as long as he was around Tessa he didn't care either.

"Well your the first person that used me and perfect in the same sentence." Damien laughed "So of course I have to assume you are sick". Damien laughed and nudged Tessa a little.

Damien started to laugh again. "Yes, I can really see me running around doing everything for you". Damien shook his head. "Nope I think not."

"I know I have to work hard to earn what I want. Look at hard I am working for you." Damien rolled his eyes. It really wasn't hard work, but man it was fun.

"If you keep it up I will have a few house elves". Damien stuck his tongue out at her.

Tessa was laughing. Had she just seen Damien regret saying that to her. She knew that he didn't want to take that class. But it was one of Tessa's favorites.

“ I will catch you up, we haven't done much this year.” She smiled, she knew that she was going to have to take potions. And she hated it, maybe because she was so bad at it. But it was a class Damien wanted.

She smiled. “ Oh I do think that I am going down sick. Seems that you have made me love sick.” Tessa laughed at herself because it was so corny.

She then pouted. “ You would when I am pregnant, run around and do everything for me.” Tessa was still smiling. “ I think you would, just because it is for me.”

Tessa rolled her eyes. “ That really doesn't count Damien.” She then smirked. “ Your problem is that you have to keep me happy.”

“ I don't want any house elves Damien.”

Damien glared at Tessa as she laughed at him. "Well you better and you are so going to owe me big time. One for every time I step inside that classroom."

Damien thought he had lost it when she said she was love sick. "See what I mean. I still will never know why you love me so much." Damien sighed.

Damien could do nothing but sigh as Tessa was going on about helping her while she was pregnant and getting her anything she wanted. It seemed he walked right into that one.

Rolling his eyes "Yes I suppose while you are pregnant with my child I will help you. It is my goal in life to make you very happy." Damien smiled.

"What do you have against house elves anyway? They love to serve people it is their goal in life"

Tessa laughed. “ So what am I going to have to do to pay you back?” She then thought about it, they had class a lot. But he did tell her that she could choose the class.”

Tessa was still laughing. “ Just take it that I love you so so much.” She was still laughing. “ And they call this puppy love.”

She knew that he walked into that one. He should always watch what he says around her. Tessa smiled when they was talking about their future. It made her a little bit happy, cause she had a bad past.

She smiled. “ I knew that you would wait on me hand and foot. So what are we going to do with your parents? They don't really like me Damien.”

Tessa knew that she was fighting a losing battle. “ Ok fine I will only let you have one house elf, and you sometimes get to clean.”

Damien got this evil look on his face when they talked about paybacks. "Hmmm I can see you helping with a lot of homework."

Damien could not believe that the way they felt together puppy love that is so true. He just hoped that the puppy love would grow into something more.

Damien just looked out onto the lake when she was talking about his parents.

"Tessa I honestly do not know what we are going to do with my parents, I haven't thought about it." The truth was Damien didn't want to think about it, it was going to be a long hard fight that he wasn't looking forward too.

"I always get what I want."

Tessa laughed. “ The reason professors assign homework, is because they are hoping that you will learn something. And I will just being helping, not doing.”

She was still smiling, she loved Damien. “ Why I kiss a thousand frogs just for the chance to be a princess.” Tessa laughed. “ I guess I found my prince.”

She knew that she did something wrong when she started to talk about his parents.

“ All I can tell you that we will take it one step at a time.” She knew that was a title of a song. But it seemed so right. She knew that this wasn't going to be easy.

“ Really? So do I, and it says you are going to help clean.”

Damien had to laugh because he knew he was passing all of his classes. "I know what I am doing, I am passing all of my classes thank you. I don't really need to to do my homework, or even help for that fact. I just enjoy your company." Damien nudged her when he said that.


"Honey I am far from being a prince. You better get to kissing some more frogs." Damien laughed as he looked over at the lake. "Would you like me to go get you some?"

Damien just shook his head when they were talking about his parents, "Yes very big steps."

Damien started laughing at Tessa again she was so bound and determined to make him clean. "We will have to wait and see, Damien doesn't clean, thats why he has house elves."

Tessa smiled. “ Well I think I could do that. I have so much homework that it is hard to keep up. Next year I am not taking as many classes.” She sighed, she knew better and she didn’t' have much to prove. But she didn’t' know what classes she wanted to keep. With Damien she would have to keep potions. But with her father gone she wasn't sure that she wanted to keep Charms.

She then started to laugh. “ Haven't you ever heard of Princess and the Frog? Oh wait it is a muggle fairytale.” Tessa was smiling. “ Well if I think you are a prince, does that make me your princess?”

“ That is all the we can do right now.” She then sighed cause Tessa knew that his parents would never like her.

She then was laughing when he was. “ Think of it as a good character building.” Tessa smiled. “ What do you have against cleaning Damien? Be glad that I am letting you have just one.”

Angelus had received a message that he needed to head over to Willow Lake that there were some students out there and they needed to get back. He was not sure why they were there but, Professor Devante was called away on something so he went to take care of the students.

Walking to the lake he noticed the two student sitting there. It was Mr. Green and Ms. Devante.

"Hello Students, Ms. Devante you father was called away for emergency business but will be back tonight, so he wanted to make sure you guys made it back before dark."

Angelus did not see the point of hanging around.

"Oh he also wanted to make sure you know the spell wears of at 6pm. Make sure you get back right away."

Angelus apparated from the spot.

Everything was going through her mind, her father would have told her. He would have said something, he would have told her that he had to leave. Tessa was now worried, he wouldn't have left like he did. This was different, and she had no idea what time it was. And she wouldn't have a way to get back, since she didn’t' bring Yas. Since she had her father to come down with her.

And how did professor Moody know that she was down there. Someone must had told him, it must have been her father. But she then listened that her father would be back later. And that made Tessa stop worrying.

“ Damien what time is it?”

Damien was about to say something else to Tessa when he noticed Professor Moody walk up to them and tell them it was time to get going.

"Yes Professor we will get going." Damien sighed as he stood up. He was really enjoying his time.

"Come on Tessa, we can finish are discussion on our way back to the castle. There is not much more time on the spell. It is almost 5pm"

Damien reached his hand down to see if she would let him help her up. He knew she was going to be sad once the spell wore off.

Tessa sighed when Damien told her what time it was. “ Well we best be going.” She then grabbed his hand. She wanted to be able to see and she didn't want this to end. She was loving her time she spent with Damien.

“ Ok I guess we can finish this talk on the way back to the castle.”

She didn't get to spend much time with her father like he planned. But something came up. At least she got to see what Damien looked like. And what she looked like.

Damien took a hold of Tessa's hand and they started walking back to the castle.

"Sorry you didn't get to spend time with your dad." Damien wondered if her dad had just set it up for them to spend time together and her dad to get a chance to see how he was with his daughter.

"Well have you decided what classes we are going to take next year?" Damien smiled even though he was a little nervous about what she would pick.
